MON Monsanto Company and Bollinger Bands and Moving Average
We studied Monsanto Company using Eillott Wave earlier. No easy, as it is difficult to know, is the normal five waves or will be an extended waves. Let do something easier.
Study MON chart using Bollinger Bands:
MON (Monsanto Company) has closed below upper band. Bollinger Bands are very much narrower than normal.
The narrow width of the bands suggests low volatility as compared to MON(Monsanto Company)’s normal range. Therefore, the probability of volatility increasing with a sharp price move has increased for the near-term.
The bands have been in this narrow range for 7 bars. The probability of a significant price move increases the longer the bands remain in this narrow range.
Next Study MON Price Action Using Moving Averages:
MON (Monsanto Company) has closed above its Short term 20 period moving average.
20 moving average is currently above 50 period mid-term, AND above long term 100 moving averages.
In conclusion, price action and moving averages is: bullish in short-term, and bullish in mid-long term.
