Picture worth a thousand words. Benchmark the two years stock chart. Price Action resisted by July 2020 month high, and for the next five months, the price action stay below the resistance. In other words, there is six months the price action can not go higher in that level, very strong level. In January 2021, price action close above the resistance, but pullback and support on the same level. So, resistance turns support. If you look right, you will see the price action zigzag along the strong level. Finally, if everything remain unchange, the price action maybe can close above the strong level.

If you are a buy and hold strategist, Will you sell now or buy now? Remember only buy near support, and sell near resistance. Wait for the price action draw near either resistance or support.
