If you are a trading technical analyst, you will hear about Gartley 222 and you should also hear Larry Pesavento.
Larry Pessavento has been linked with Gartley 222. Larry Pessavento trading strategy is closely linked with Gartley 222.

Larry Pessavento discovered the most revealing part of the Gartley pattern on page 222 under figure 27 (see chart follows) in Harold McKinley Gartley’s book. Larry had also uncovered the fact that while Gartley describes both buy and sell patterns identically, he had different diagrams for each. It was the AB=CD pattern within the sell Gartley Pattern that lead to the nickname of the pattern as the “Gartley 222”.

Harold McKinley Gartley covers a number of different patterns, but one pattern he spends more time than the rest of the patterns. This is the famous Gartley “222” pattern, this particular pattern discussed in great detail on page 222, this how it gets the name. Today at time is referred to as the Gartley pattern.

Who’s Larry Pessavento?
