Lanterns Festival
Chinese New Year is also known as Spring Festival, its celebrates for first fifteen days of Chinese Lunar month, that is from February 8th till February 22nd of 2016.
The fifteen day of Chinese New Year is a first full moon after Spring Festival. It is well known as Lantern Festival. This also marks as another reunion dinner with lanterns. It is an important part of Chinese New Year celebrations. Customary is to eat special sweet dumplings, tangyuan.
As it is a festival for lanterns, so many places around the world where Chinese are staying will have lanterns display.
