When an engineer sets out to build a spacecraft, he approaches the problem with a know, familiar technique, a set of practiced skills and methods. These technique, skills, and methods must be learned. It is no different from trading, there are recognized techniques, skills, and methods that governing the trade. In addition, there are psychology and emotions to support the trade.
Many new traders often expect to find a course or training that will show him the holy grail. They expect to learn the get rich formula overnight. It is true that not many has the interest to read through the entire trading book. Many will flip the pages to find the trading rules and expect to start trading the next minute after read through the particular page. Sigh!
If the trading is so important to you and affecting your life, wouldn’t you take an intense interest in understanding every single details of making it success of your trade. Why are you blaming your guru didn’t show you the winning trade? Guru is human, he is no different from you. The major different is he has more years of experiences. He has seen more bull and bear markets than you.
This may be led to the myth that 95% of the traders lost all their wealth in the first three years and disappear from the market.
