In this posting, you can find many MACD Scan, scan for different price range. Why? The simple reason is that there are too little stocks being selected by the script. This can mean the market underlying strength, which in this case is very poor.

The first time we pick this range. In fact, to do this I do not even have to change the program, just update the parameter to indicate the minimum price = 3 and maximum price = 10. It took less than five minutes with my computer to scan through six thousands plus US Stocks in the database.
