We did a review on ST Index price action chart in March, See link ST Index Analysis. The most recent one was yesterday ST Index price action chart. Check it out.

We use 1) Ichimoku Cloud, 2) Support Resistance (using box), 3) River (moving average), 4) GMMA and Woodies CCI, 5) Bollinger Bands and Moving Averages, and 6) MACD to analyse the stock chart, or chart.

We translate what the price action tell us, ie Picture worth a thousand words. We publish Moses Don’t Play Play Chart almost daily. Have fun!

1) ^STI | ST Index | Straits Times Index and Dow Jones Index Correlation

Correlation chart is a good way to understand your current market verse the market you wanting to bench mark. In our example here, we bench market Singapore ST Index with US Dow Jones Index, DJI.

We see the Slow MA (200 period) slopping down first before turning up for Singapore Stock Exchange STI, as compare to US Dow Jones, the 200 MA first near flat than slopping up.

In the last two months, May and June, for Index were slopping down. So, the market emotions were about the same.

Conclusion 3250 level could be a ceiling for STI.

Manage risk is a key in trading.
