It is good to look at the chart for clue than hear the market gossip. True! True!
From the chart you can see the market was still very healthy before June 2015. PA was still bounced off moving average. MA is a good visual tool to inspect the chart. When the PA is bouncing up MA, and MA sloping up. You can be quite sure it is an uptrend.
But, but at mid June 2015 suddenly the price action zoom pass the moving average and move downward . Since then the PA is below MA and stay below MA.
Is the recession started? See the chart below, the level of decline is so steep, and continue to fall.
Channel
It is good to see the chart with multiple indicators. Channel is a good guide, draw two or more parallel lines. You may see price action bouncing between the lines.
Look Back
If you will look back, 2014 was like the starting point for the roller coaster and mid June 2015 seem to be peak. Now, the price action has hit the lower.
But if take beginning of 2015 as the level, the current low may be a bear trap. The price action is near 61.8% level.
