Black Box! Without any knowledge of its internal workings, hence “black”. Remember more than twenty years back, was involved in marketing professional services. The client was looking for testing professionals, from the team lead to the individual test professional. Although I was not the professional being interview for the job, but was also has to prepare the candidates for the successful interview. I had to educate the professional what is “black box” and “white box” testing. Wow! The jargon can just simply knockout any good candidates!
By the way, “white box” is the opposite to “black box”, you have know every single details of the technical expect and follow exactly. …
