Good Guess
Many have been speculate that the election results are having a major impact on the interest rate markets. Is market expectations for a rate hike from the Federal Reserve have tumbled to 50%, earlier on Tuesday expectations were more than 80% a results of the election? The truth is the election results are just one of the factor, there are many more, many other reasons caused the world economy to decline or trending up.
Many think if the market has a sharp and prolonged decline in the stock markets, the Fed is unlikely to hike interest rates. In fact, there are only a few choice on the rate hike, either yes or no, or do nothing. Has anyone wiser to know the outcome. Whatever the statistic they use will be right only until it is proven right.
Do not forget if the economist can read the economy we were not in the shoe today. They can not even predict their worst coming for their future.
What if it is Wrong, too bad
The rate hike will still happening. Can the rate hike be visual? I mean visually see that it is coming. From the history, the worst the situation means that you think it will not happening then it happen. Because, you use the visual tool the real market (real time mode), and they use the books, papers likely history data and statistic (not real time – online).
I remember when I was working for a world electronic entertainment giant, the CEO felt very sad that the amount of money the company invest in the best and state of the accounting system could not give him a real time month end close outcome. The faster he could get is at least a two weeks old report on the financial status. Imaging the how much saving he could if he know that he has enough money to fund the project instead of taking a loan from the bank to embark on the investment. This is just for a company, a global company.
What about a nation, a global leading nation. It probably the same, the amount of data they need to process before they know where they are. By then it is all history. …
